The Twilight facial is a treatment involving microneedling and Platelet Rich Fibrin Matrix (PRF) to induce collagen production in treatment areas. This renews the skin, addressing acne scars, uneven texture and color.

Microneedling, or collagen induction therapy, involves the puncturing of small wounds in the top layer of the skin to stimulate collagen production in wound healing. PRF is a blood derived substance packed with more platelets, growth factors and stem cells as opposed to traditional PRP. The combination of these two rejuvenates the skin and grows new tissue. Can be used for skin and hair.

Three Twilight facials are needed to induce total skin rejuvenation. Studies have shown that the best results of skin texture, color and scarring are noted to be improved by the 3rd treatment. Maintenance will be every 4 months after 3 treatments are complete, 1 month apart each.

You will have a consult with one of our providers and will be cleared if there are no contraindications to having the Twilight facial. We will take pictures for before and after photos to compare and monitor your skins progress. We will numb the area of concern for 30 minutes, then clean the face in preparation to the treatment. We will draw blood and spin it in a centrifuge slowly. After it spins for approximately 7 minutes, we will draw the yellow cloudy portion of the test tube- that is the PRF. We will use the PRF by sprinkling it on the surface of the skin and microneedle it in. We will micro needle areas of concern with 3 passes. At the end of the treatment you will be educated on post treatment care and will schedule your next appointment.

If you are pregnant, have severe acne or lesions, if you have active herpes, moderate to severe/chronic eczema/ psoriasis. Patients with keloid tendencies. Active infections or poor wound healing.
